Wang Lei (王磊) is a PhD candidate at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA), Fudan University. He received his BA in Linguistics from the School of International Studies, Tongji University (2004) and his MA in International Relations from the Department of International Politics, Fudan University (2007). The title of his MA dissertation was “The Myth of People Vote: An Analysis of the Electoral College for Presidential Election in the United States”.
Since September 2010, Lei has been a PhD student at the Graduate School of Global Politics, Freie Universität Berlin. He is the first PhD candidate from a Chinese partner university to be co-educated by both FU Berlin and its Chinese partner universities in the GSGP program. Currently, he is concentrating on the study of the European Union Diplomatic Service Construction. His major research fields include: the EU Foreign Policy, European Integration, and the Sino-EU Relations. In addition, he is interested in the study of US election politics.
