Daniela Schmidt studied Political Science and Sociology at the University of Düsseldorf, Humboldt University of Berlin and the City University of New York. After her studies, she worked at the Federal Foreign Ministry organising seminars for young diplomats from Islamic countries. Before joining the CGP, she was a research associate at Deutscher Bundestag for three years.
