Prof. Bao is associate professor of economics , Deputy Director of Department of International Politics, and Director of the Research Center for International Political Economy, Renmin University of China in Beijing . He holds a Ph. D.in economics (2001), and was an Erasmus Mundus visiting scholar (Economics Department of University of Antwerp in Belgium，2006.10 - 2007.01). He is the supervisor of International Economy and International Political Economy Masters and Council Member of the Academic Society for China International Economic Relationships.
