Zhongqi PAN is currently an associate professor at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University, where he received his Ph.D. in international relations in 1999. He teaches international politics at both undergraduate and graduate levels and in both Chinese and English. His focus of research includes international relations theory, international system, East Asia security, U.S. foreign policy, China-US relations, etc. He is the author of World Order: Structure, Mechanisms, and Models (Shanghai: Shanghai Publishing House, 2004) and the editor of Multilateral Governance and International Order (Shanghai: Shanghai People’s Publishing House, 2006). He has published many articles both in Chinese and in English at various academic periodicals. He was a research fellow at the Shanghai Institute for International Studies in 2000-2005. He was a visiting scholar to Lund University (2006), the Fairbank Center at Harvard University (2004), and the Henry Stimson Center (2001).
