CGP invites you to the first Berlin Forum on Global Politics, entitled "This Is Not Global Politics!…Or Is It?". The forum will take place on April 18 and 19 at Freie Universität Berlin.
How do China, India and Brazil change the Rules of Development Cooperation? Which Impact does China’s Resource Engagement have on Good Governance in African Oil States? How did NATO powers legitimize their actions after 9/11? How Relevant Is International Law For International Relations? How can we conceptualize the Rise Of Non-State Actors In World Politics?
These are some of the questions to be addressed at the first Berlin Forum on Global Politics, which will take place on April 18 and 19 at the Seminarzentrum L113, Otto-von-Simson-Straße 26 at Freie Universität Berlin under the theme „This Is Not Global Politics! ... Or Is It?“. Participants from various Institutes and Universities in Germany, Nigeria, China, Romania, the Netherlands, Italy, France and Slovenia will present 24 papers in six thematic panels, such as Global Cooperation, Global Security and Global Rights.
The Berlin Forum On Global Politics is an initiative of the doctoral candidates of the Graduate School of Global Politics (GSGP), the doctoral program of the Center for Global Politics (CGP) at the Freie Universität Berlin and the first joint doctoral program between Germany and China in the Social Sciences.
