The Center for Global Politics was visited by two distinguished professors from the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences on Friday.

The SASS lecturers are on a trip around Germany visiting partner institutions.
Professor Ye Qing and Professor Zhu Pingfang each gave a lecture; the former on new trends in China’s judicial reform, the latter on R&D spillover effect between China’s industrial sectors. Each lecture was followed by a lively discussion, with questions posed by the Graduate School of Global Politics students who attended the session.
The professors were joined by staff members Ms. Zhang Sen, Ms. Zhang Yen and Mr. Hou Wendong.
The group were welcomed by two SASS students, Ms. Yu Ke and Mr. Hu Deqin, who currently study on the Graduate School program at FU Berlin.
After the lectures the group had lunch with Professor Segbers and members of the CGP, discussing differences between Chinese and German culture and the progress on the Joint Degree.
