GSGP cooperation partner Chen Zhimin is set to give a Herrhausen Lecture on the changing global role of China.

Chen Zhimin, a Dean and Professor from Fudan University’s School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) in Shanghai will next week deliver the Herrhausen Lecture at Berlin Freie Univeristät. Prof. Chen has for some time been involved with the Center for Global Politics as our primary cooperation partner for the Graduate School of Global Politics (GSGP).
The lecture itself will be held on Tuesday the 19th of January at the Politics and Social Sciences building located at the main Freie Univeristät campus in Dahlem, Berlin. There he will present a lecture on the changing role of China in the international order. His lecture is titled ‘China in International Order: From Rule taker/keeper to Rule shaper’, will be bolstered by his years of experience in International Relations working both in Asia and internationally.
The Herrhausen Lecture is an ongoing series of IR lectures formerly known as the Foresight Lecture. It is presented by the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft in cooperation with the joint programme Master in International Relations of the Universität Potsdam, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Freie Universität Berlin.
